This is a recording of a simple mantra using harp and voice: Wahe Guru, Wahe Guru, Wahe Guru, Guru Dev. The mantra can be translated in several ways with Wahe meaning “Wonderous”. Guru is traditionally translated as “Teacher”, “Master”, and “God”. To take the translation further, Guru literally means “destroyer of darkness” or “from darkness to light”. To me, from darkness to light has an implication of Truth. Finally, Dev is translated as “Divine”. Therefore my translation for this mantra is: Wonderous Teacher, Wonderous God, Wonderous Light, Divine Light.
